Trauma therapy to help you heal.

And restore self leadership so you can live the life you envision.

“The only way we can change the way we feel is by becoming aware of our inner experience and learning to befriend what is going on inside ourselves.” Bessel Van Der Kolk, The Body Keeps the Score

Trauma can have a profound impact on our mental, emotional and physical well-being, often leading to anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and feelings of disconnection. Trauma can result from many experiences, including:

  • Neglect, abuse or a host of adverse childhood experiences

  • A high conflict relationship or breakup

  • Loss of a loved one

  • Violence

  • Witnessing distressing events

When unprocessed, these experiences can become "stuck" in the body and mind, causing ongoing emotional pain and disruptive patterns of behavior.

The human body is built to heal.

In trauma therapy, we focus on understanding and processing these unresolved experiences so they no longer control your life.

We use evidence-based therapies like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), both of which have proven effective in treating trauma.

EMDR helps you reprocess traumatic memories by using eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, reducing their emotional intensity and allowing resolution. IFS explores different parts of yourself—such as protective and wounded parts—and helps you create harmony within these inner systems, promoting healing and integration. These approaches, combined with a safe and supportive environment, can help you release the burdens of trauma and restore self leadership.

“We are relational beings. Whether early in life or in adulthood, coming to know ourselves within the context of being known - genuinely understood, honored and cared for - can make all the difference.”
